Registration for next year:
The School Council of San Martin de Porres School completed their work on the budget last Monday evening. It was decided to give the teachers and staff a 2% increase in pay from this year and to cover this cost the tuition would be raised by $5.00 a month for the 11 months – July to May. There will be no changes in the other fees. This increase in tuition will not cover the entire amount needed, so ideas were discussed about a third fund-raiser in which we would ask your help – but no selling of raffle tickets.
We will continue to talk about what this might be. Your ideas would be welcomed by the Council.
The registration forms are included in your packet. If you need help with the tuition please ask for a financial aid form from the office.
Safety of the children
In order to maintain the safety for your children, we ask anyone who comes to the school to present yourself in the office first. The faculty and staff have been trained to be on the look out for anyone who is loitering around the school. This is the reason why we cannot have you stay in your car in the parking area. No parent or visitor is allowed to go to a classroom without a “Visitor’s Pass”.
Lunches
This is a reminder that no carbonated beverages nor fast food may be brought to the students for lunch.. The vending machines in the parish hall are “off-limits” during the school lunch time
